Prepare detailed technical and engineering drawings in accordance with project requirements.
Read and analyze project specifications, design requirements, and technical details.
Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements and ensure designs align with established goals.
Perform necessary modifications and revisions to drawings in accordance with any changes in project specifications or applicable regulations and requirements.
Ensure drawings and designs comply with building codes, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, versions, and project-related documents.
Prepare illustrative drawings or visual models for use during client meetings or project presentations.
Assist in preparing technical documents and reports related to projects.
Review and inspect drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness before final approval or submission.
Provide technical support to project teams throughout all stages of project execution.
Coordinate continuously with project team members to ensure the accuracy and integrity of technical outputs.
Qualifications and Experience:
A qualification or certificate in engineering drawing, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred.
Proven previous experience as a Draftsman or in a similar role within engineering or manufacturing fields.
Experience using 3D modeling tools and visualization software.
Proficiency in using engineering drawing and design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalents.
A good understanding of design principles, engineering drawing standards, and implementation and construction methods and techniques.
Good knowledge of building codes, materials, and relevant regulations and requirements.
High accuracy and strong attention to detail.
Good communication, teamwork, and coordination skills with various parties.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to flexibly handle changes in project requirements.
