Role Description The AI Tech Lead is a full-time, hybrid role based in New Cairo, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role oversees the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven solutions, leading technical decision-making and ensuring alignment with business objectives. Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting AI systems, guiding model selection and optimization, reviewing code and solution designs, and integrating AI services into existing platforms. The AI Tech Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams, mentors engineers and data professionals, and establishes best practices for model lifecycle management, data quality, and security. The role also involves evaluating new AI technologies, contributing to technical roadmaps, and supporting pre-sales or client discussions on AI capabilities when needed.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in AI/ML technologies, including experience with model development, training, evaluation, and deployment in production environments.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and familiarity with modern software development practices.
• Experience in solution architecture and system integration, with the ability to design scalable, secure, and maintainable AI systems.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including team mentorship, technical guidance, and collaboration with product, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of data engineering concepts, data pipelines, and working with structured and unstructured data in cloud or on-prem environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in enterprise or B2B technology projects, preferably within integrated solutions or digital transformation initiatives, is a plus.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in AI LLMs an MLops
• Generative AI, NLP, Computer Vision, and cloud/on-prem AI platforms is required.
