We’re Hiring: Estimation & Tendering Engineer | Cairo (Helwan)

Etihad Gharbia Contracting is expanding its Technical Office in Cairo. We are looking for a sharp Estimation & Tendering Engineer to support pricing and bid preparation for our projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Location: Helwan, Cairo, Egypt (on-site)

Type: Full-time

What You’ll Do

• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare and review BOQs
• Study drawings, technical specifications, scope of work (SOW), and tender documents
• Build and analyze item rates, estimating material, labor, and equipment costs
• Review supplier and subcontractor quotations and prepare comparison sheets
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals and submit them on time
• Coordinate continuously with project teams and the Technical and Commercial departments in Saudi Arabia

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or Architectural preferred)
• 3 to 8 years of experience in estimation and tendering with a contracting company
• Strong command of quantity take-off and BOQ preparation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD

Nice to Have

• Experience on contracting projects in Saudi Arabia
• Familiarity with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and Saudi market pricing
• Knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project
