Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Tender Engineer role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Mechanical Tender Engineer will prepare technical and commercial proposals for mechanical works, including reviewing tender documents, specifications, and drawings. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting site visits when required, performing quantity take-offs, estimating costs, and coordinating with design and project teams to ensure accurate tender submissions. The role involves developing mechanical solutions, reviewing CAD drawings, and ensuring compliance with project standards and client requirements. The Mechanical Tender Engineer will also support value engineering, maintain tender documentation, and participate in clarification meetings with clients and suppliers.
Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in mechanical estimation and tendering within a contracting company.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.
• Experience in quantity surveying and preparing BOQs.
• Ability to review tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Good knowledge of cost estimation and preparing competitive quotations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
