Area Sales Manager - Power Systems
تفاصيل الوظيفة
Job description
Our client is a global provider of advanced air filtration and clean process solutions serving commercial, industrial, and highly regulated environments.
Its solutions support organizations where air quality, process protection, controlled environments, and reliable filtration are critical.
They're expanding their power systems business across Egypt, and this role sits at the center of that growth.
Gas turbines, compressors, and engines across the country's power generation, oil & gas, and industrial sites depend on air inlet filtration, acoustic control, pulse filter systems, and evaporative cooling to run efficiently.
Right now, much of that installed base is still up for grabs, held by competitors, underserved, or simply unmapped.
This is not a maintenance-mode sales job.
It's a build role.
You'll be the one securing vendor registrations, winning tenders, converting competitor-installed sites, and turning single equipment sales into long-term aftermarket relationships.
What You'll Own Territory growth.
You'll build and execute the Egypt sales plan, hunting new opportunities and converting sites currently running on competitor equipment.
Vendor registrations, prequalifications, and frame agreements with key end users and EPCs will be yours to secure, the groundwork that gets you a seat at the table for every future tender.
The installed base.
You'll map every gas turbine, compressor, and engine across Egypt worth knowing about, configurations, replacement cycles, competitor presence, and turn that intelligence into a proactive spare parts and aftermarket pipeline, timed around outage and shutdown windows rather than chasing them after the fact.
Technical credibility.
Site visits, performance surveys, and life cycle cost analysis will be part of your regular rhythm.
You'll shift customer conversations away from purchase price and toward total cost of ownership, and you'll introduce condition monitoring solutions like Power Eye as a differentiator that keeps you relevant long after the initial sale.
Relationships that last.
Power generation end users, oil & gas operators, consultants, EPCs, and OEM service teams will come to see you as their trusted advisor.
Where needed, you'll also appoint and manage local channel partners, extending your reach without diluting standards.
Visibility and voice.
You'll represent the business at industry events and customer seminars, and you'll feed market intelligence back to regional management and product teams, shaping not just your own pipeline but the wider strategy.
What's In It For You This role offers a rare combination: the technical depth of an engineering-driven product line with the autonomy and earnings potential of a true business development mandate.
You'll operate with significant ownership over your territory and strategy, working closely with application engineering, service, and factory teams who back your proposals rather than second-guess them.
You'll build direct relationships with some of Egypt's most significant power and industrial players, gain deep exposure to turbomachinery auxiliary systems, and have a genuine hand in shaping how a global brand grows in one of the region's most important markets.
Ready to Build Something?
If you're excited by the idea of owning a territory rather than inheriting one, of turning technical knowledge into commercial wins and installed-base relationships that compound over years, this is worth a conversation.
Apply now to take the next step in a role where your market knowledge, technical credibility, and commercial instincts will directly determine how far this business grows in Egypt.
You'll thrive in this role if you already understand turbomachinery, ideally with direct exposure to air inlet filtration, acoustic and noise control, or evaporative cooling in power generation or oil & gas settings.
Technical fluency isn't optional here; it's what earns you the right to sell lifecycle value instead of competing on price alone.
You'll be especially successful if you've spent 5–7+ years in technical sales or business development in Egypt's power, oil & gas, or rotating equipment markets, with a track record of winning tenders and building accounts with major end users, utilities, IPPs, oil & gas operators, or their EPC contractors.
Experience navigating vendor registration and prequalification processes will serve you well from day one.
You'll need to be fluent in English.
Comfort with disciplined CRM use (Salesforce preferred).
A valid Egyptian driving licence and a genuine willingness to travel, including to plant sites in remote locations, because that's where the relationships that matter actually get built.
A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or power engineering (or a closely related field) is expected; additional commercial training is a plus.
