Junior Accountant

Talent 360 is hiring a detail-oriented Junior Accountant for our client. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Monitor financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Support budget preparation, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Assist in financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits and financial reviews.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting requirements, and internal controls.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses to support management decision-making.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and financial reporting efficiency.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or a related finance role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Interest in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance reporting.
• Eagerness to learn, grow professionally, and expand responsibilities beyond core accounting functions.
