Lead MEPI BIM Coordinator

Hire Pals is supporting a leading international engineering consultancy in hiring a Lead MEPI BIM Coordinator for its team in New Cairo.
We’re looking for an experienced BIM professional who can lead mechanical coordination across complex building projects, ensuring models are accurate, coordinated, constructible and compliant with project BIM standards.
What you’ll be doing Develop and implement BIM coordination strategies throughout the project lifecycle. Lead the coordination of mechanical and wider MEPI BIM models. Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans, project standards and modelling protocols. Manage clash detection and resolution using Navisworks. Lead multidisciplinary model reviews and coordination meetings. Review models for accuracy, quality and constructability. Develop and oversee mechanical models using Revit. Work with BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud and Auto CAD. Collaborate closely with design, BIM and construction teams. Mentor junior BIM team members and review their work. Promote consistent BIM standards, workflows and continuous improvement. Support the use of Dynamo and other digital tools to improve efficiency.
What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. At least 13 years of relevant experience. Strong hands-on experience with Revit and Navisworks. Proven experience leading mechanical or MEPI BIM coordination. Strong knowledge of clash detection, multidisciplinary coordination and model-quality reviews. Experience implementing BIM Execution Plans and modelling standards. Experience with BIM 360, Autodesk Construction Cloud and Auto CAD. Project experience across commercial, residential and healthcare developments. Strong understanding of mechanical Building Services systems. Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to coordinate effectively across design and construction teams. Dynamo knowledge is advantageous. GCC or international project experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate You are a technically strong BIM leader who can take ownership of complex coordination activities, resolve clashes and maintain high modeling standards across multidisciplinary projects. You combine strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to lead teams, communicate clearly and deliver coordinated, constructible models.
