We are seeking a Civil or Architectural Site Engineer to join the Execution Team of a large-scale Social Housing Project.

The candidate will be responsible for supervising and following up daily construction activities, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring proper execution according to approved drawings and specifications, and monitoring the quality of executed works.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and follow up daily construction activities within the assigned work areas.

* Ensure that works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.

* Coordinate with subcontractors and site labor to ensure proper execution and continuity of work.

* Follow up on subcontractor manpower, materials, equipment, and daily productivity.

* Ensure proper sequencing of activities within the assigned work fronts.

* Identify site obstacles and coordinate with the relevant departments to resolve technical and execution issues.

* Inspect completed works and ensure compliance with required quality standards before requesting inspection and approval.

* Coordinate with the QA/QC team and follow up on inspections, test requests, and corrective actions.

* Prepare and maintain daily site reports and records of executed works.

* Follow up on the availability and proper use of approved materials.

* Verify executed quantities and assist in preparing quantity measurements for subcontractor works.

* Report delays, quality issues, and deviations from the approved execution plan to the Execution Department Manager.

* Follow up on rectification of defective or non-conforming works.

* Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and report unsafe practices.

* Coordinate with the Technical Office regarding drawings, technical details, RFIs, and site requirements.

* Participate in site meetings and provide updates on progress, constraints, and quality issues.

* Support the Execution Department in achieving planned productivity and project schedule targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in construction projects.

• Previous experience in residential construction projects is required.

• Experience in Social Housing Projects is highly preferred.

• Good practical knowledge of construction methods and site execution.

• Good understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and method statements.

• Good knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures.

• Ability to supervise subcontractors and follow up on their daily activities.

• Good knowledge of quantity take-off and measurement of executed works.

• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work on site and under pressure.

• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
