Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Monitor food handling, preparation, storage, and sanitation practices to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and support corrective actions to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
• Maintain hygiene records, audit reports, compliance documentation, and food safety logs.
• Assist with audit preparation and follow up on corrective action plans.
• Perform routine hygiene and food safety audits to ensure adherence to company and brand standards.
• Investigate food safety concerns and implement preventive measures to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with local health regulations, HACCP requirements, and company food safety policies.
• Support internal, external, and governmental inspections and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in food science, environmental health, or a related field.
• HACCP certification; additional food safety certifications are an advantage.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in hygiene, food safety, preferably in hotel operations.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and HACCP principles.
• Experience conducting hygiene inspections, audits, and corrective action follow-up.
• Excellent communication and training skills with the ability to influence operational teams.
• Strong organizational, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
