As a metrology technician, your objective will be to guarantee the availability, in good condition, of all the tools necessary for production within the fixed deadlines, in anticipation of the operations selected by the scheduling, planning, and in real time.

In this context you will be amenable to:

• R receive the tools from their acquisition and r list them in the internal tracking database;
• R receive the tooling after its external inspection and calibration;
• Define the maintenance and control policy for each tool upon its acquisition. (frequency, nature of control, etc.);
• Set up a library of technical files specific to each tool;
• Define the management method for each tool: Management as a complete kit, as exploded parts, as consumables,
• Perform a categorization of the tools according to their nature of use and their control requirement (Specific, standard, );
• Define the control/calibration standards for each tool according to the manufacturer's requirements;
• Define a monitoring and control schedule in line with the overall workload program of the activity by producing a quarterly cost report;
• Choose calibration and testing laboratories that have the authorization and accreditation to work on each type of tooling;
• Read and verify the control/calibration reports issued by the control and calibration bodies;
• Ensure the monitoring of tooling reforms in consultation with the relevant departments;

Desired Candidate Profile

Bac +2/3 in Metrology with a minimum of 5 years' experience in tooling management within an industrial structure or a metrology laboratory.
