Job :

The International Student Recruitment Manager will lead the strategy for acquiring new African students for UIR. They will work closely with academic schools and departments, as well as recruitment agencies, to ensure a steady flow of quality students.

Development of Recruitment Strategy

• Develop the annual recruitment action plan by African region/country
• Identify priority countries/regions based on market potential and desired academic profile
• Set measurable objectives in terms of recruited numbers per program/study level

Student Prospecting & Acquisition

• Identify and map high schools, institutes, and universities in Africa (potential student pools)
• Organize and conduct prospecting missions, educational fairs, presentations
• Establish recruitment partnerships with local agencies and intermediaries
• Directly prospect potential candidates (via social media, events, etc.)

Marketing & Communication

• Develop and execute attractive communication campaigns (digital and traditional)
• Manage UIR's presence on social media (targeted African audience)
• Create engaging marketing content (brochures, videos, student testimonials, case studies)
• Participate in international educational fairs in Africa

Support for the Admission Process

• Coordinate with admissions services for efficient processing of international student applications
• Facilitate the process (visa, documents, payment, pre-registration)
• Ensure follow-up with candidates from the first contact to final registration

Mobility Management & Onboarding

• Coordinate the welcome of new students upon arrival
• Organize orientation and integration (housing, transport, administrative support)
• Ensure regular follow-up and support for students during their studies

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

• Track recruitment indicators (volume, cost per acquisition, conversion, satisfaction)
• Produce regular activity reports (monthly, quarterly)
• Analyze recruitment data and propose strategic adjustments

Required profile :

Profile Sought:

• Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent
• 4-7 years of experience in recruitment, enrollment management, or the international education sector
• Proven experience in Africa (network, field knowledge, understanding of African markets)
• Digital skills (CRM, management tools, social media, data)
• Excellent communicator, with a team spirit and good interpersonal skills

Required Skills:

• Recruitment & Sales: Prospecting, conversion, customer relations, pipeline management, achieving objectives
• Marketing & Communication: Marketing strategy, social media, content creation, storytelling, branding
• Operational: Project management, KPI tracking, data/analytics, event organization, coordination
• Language Skills: Fluent French; Fluent English
• Contextual: Knowledge of the African higher education ecosystem, network in Africa, field experience, multilingual ability
