Accompany customers with courtesy and ensure smooth checkout.
Record items at the checkout without error and give the receipt to the customer, thanking them.
Report refund requests (to the manager and/or their assistant)
Reconciliation between cash collected on the checkout system and on the card terminals
Perform the daily closing
Sort and file the different receipts (merchant copy from the card terminal, total cash collected and daily closing) and ensure they are given to the line manager at the end of each month
Occasionally participate in keeping the checkout area clean.
Required profile :
Diploma of at least Bac+2 (equivalent to a 2-year college degree) Proficiency in French and English (spoken and written) Good customer service skills, friendly and good communication Good command of checkout systems Rigor, organization, and reliability
