Design and maintain the Azure Golden Image Factory architecture using Azure Compute Gallery and native Azure services. Define the standards for Windows and Linux Golden Images, in accordance with the company's security requirements. Design and optimize automated image creation pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Packer, Terraform, and PowerShell. Implement automated processes for validating, testing, and deploying images across different Azure environments. Apply security hardening mechanisms based on CIS recommendations, Microsoft security frameworks, and company compliance standards. Integrate security tools such as Microsoft Defender for Cloud, MDE/MDVM, vulnerability scanners, and monitoring agents into the image creation pipelines. Ensure the governance of image versioning, lifecycle, patching, promotion between environments, and retirement. Implement compliance, governance, RBAC control, and reporting mechanisms to guarantee the exclusive use of approved images. Collaborate with Platform, Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to increase the adoption of Golden Images across the enterprise. Drive the continuous improvement of Azure image-related services through automation, self-service capabilities, and operational excellence.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Experience: 7+ years of IT experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on experience (designing, deploying, and maintaining solutions). Languages: Fluent English. Soft skills: Leadership, excellent communication skills, analytical thinking, proactivity, and experience with Agile methodologies.
