In this role, your main responsibilities will be as follows:

A. Design & Technical Definition

• Define the interfaces, volumes and 3D architectures of mechanical systems.
• Write the technical specifications for supplier requests.
• Validate the 2D/3D data and interface plans provided by the subcontractors.

B. Validation & Finalization

• Finalize the 3D model (integration of supplier contributions).
• Check for the absence of interference and correct any geometric conflicts.
• Validate the points raised in technical reviews and close the corrective actions.
• Finalize the definition file (2D plans, DMA, PLM) for transmission to industrialization.

C. Industrialization Preparation

• Validate the installation and detail plans in preparation for production.
• Ensure that all designs are compatible with industrial processes.

D. Support and Problem Solving

• Supporting the Methods teams during the assembly/prototyping phases.
• To identify technical problems and propose corrective solutions.
• Participate in follow-up meetings with project teams and suppliers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Education: Engineering degree or equivalent in mechanics, industrial design or aeronautics.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in mechanical design (railway/industrial sector preferred).

SKILLS :

• Technical skills
• Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 (or EHI), creation of complex models.
• Use of DMA, PLM, and DOORS for traceability and requirements.
• Knowledge of railway/aeronautical standards (e.g. EN 45545, NF F00-100).
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and disassembly constraints.
• Experience working with Methods, Quality, and Suppliers.
