Job Summary

The Bellman is responsible for providing warm personalized and efficient arrival and departure services to guests while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality. The role assists guests with luggage transportation arrangements directions and general requests ensuring a smooth and memorable guest experience. The Bellman works closely with the Front Office Concierge Housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless guest service.

Location : Jeddah Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure with a professional and courteous attitude.

• Assist guests with loading unloading transporting and safely storing luggage.

• Escort guests to their rooms and provide an informative orientation of the room and hotel facilities.

• Explain hotel services facilities operating hours and available amenities to guests.

• Deliver luggage packages messages and guest items promptly and accurately.

• Assist guests with transportation arrangements including taxis private vehicles and airport transfers.

• Maintain accurate records of luggage storage deliveries and transportation arrangements.

• Respond promptly to guest requests and provide personalized assistance throughout the guest journey.

• Coordinate closely with Front Office Concierge Housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.

• Maintain the cleanliness organization and professional presentation of the lobby entrance luggage area and bell desk.

• Assist with valet and vehicle-related services where applicable.

• Handle guest belongings with care discretion and respect at all times.

• Maintain knowledge of hotel facilities local attractions restaurants transportation options and key points of interest in Jeddah.

• Support VIP arrivals special events group movements and other guest-related activities as required.

• Report maintenance issues safety hazards or unusual activity to the appropriate department.

• Follow all hotel policies security procedures health and safety standards and service protocols.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Front Office Manager or management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is preferred.

• Previous experience as a Bellman Bellboy Porter Concierge or in a guest-facing hospitality role is preferred.

• Excellent command of English both spoken and written.

• Arabic language skills are an advantage; additional languages are highly desirable.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for guest service.

• Professional appearance and excellent grooming standards.

• Strong knowledge of guest service etiquette and hospitality standards.

• Ability to handle luggage and remain physically active throughout the shift.

• Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of Jeddahs key attractions landmarks restaurants and transportation options is an advantage.

• Ability to remain calm professional and helpful in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs.

• Flexibility to work shifts weekends evenings and public holidays.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multicultural team.
