About the Role

Sheraton is seeking an Agent-Front Desk to join their team. This full-time position involves assisting guests with various needs, managing check-ins and check-outs, and ensuring a smooth guest experience. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all guest check-ins, including confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing/activating room keys.
• Handle all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit.
• Process all check-outs, resolving any late or disputed charges.
• Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness for check-in.
• Run daily reports (arrivals, departures), identify special requests, and verify report accuracy.
• Assist staff with expediting problem payments, such as issues processing credit cards.
• Follow up with guests regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues.
• Anticipate sold-out situations and secure alternative accommodations when the property cannot house guests with reservations.
• Cash guests' personal and traveler's checks.
• Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information.
• Count and balance the bank at the beginning and end of each shift, dropping receipts according to Accounting specifications.

Operational Support and Professional Conduct

• Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching employees, serving as a role model.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; complete safety training and certifications.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
• Communicate with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
• Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
