Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned city and modern trade accounts.
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with modern trade customers, store managers, and relevant key stakeholders.
Manage assigned modern trade outlets and ensure consistent product availability, visibility, and assortment.
Execute promotional activities, trade campaigns, and merchandising plans in line with business objectives.
Monitor sales performance, stock availability, inventory levels, and SKU-wise performance across assigned accounts.
Conduct regular market and outlet visits to ensure execution standards and identify opportunities for growth.
Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure timely order placement, deliveries, and resolution of operational issues.
Track competitor activities, pricing, promotions, new launches, and market trends within the assigned city.
Identify opportunities to expand distribution, improve numeric distribution, and increase sales across existing and potential outlets.
Prepare regular sales reports and provide insights on performance, market developments, and business opportunities to the Sales Manager.
Ensure compliance with agreed trade terms, pricing, promotional guidelines, and company sales policies.
Support the Sales Manager in developing and implementing city-level sales plans and initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
2–4 years of relevant experience in sales, preferably within Modern Trade/FMCG.
Strong understanding of modern trade operations, retail execution, and sales processes.
Proven ability to manage customer relationships and deliver against sales targets.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and market data.
Strong execution and follow-up skills with a results-oriented approach.
Good knowledge of the assigned city and its retail/modern trade landscape.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Willingness to undertake regular market and outlet visits within the assigned city.
