SSH Design is looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The role will lead the multidisciplinary design delivery of large-scale and complex building projects, mixed use and hospitality projects, ensuring design quality, technical excellence, coordination and successful delivery from concept through detailed design.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams across Architecture, Structures, MEP and specialist disciplines.
• Manage design delivery, coordination, programme, quality and key project milestones.
• Act as a senior interface with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Lead design reviews and resolve complex technical and coordination issues.
• Manage third-party consultants and ensure effective integration of their designs.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable codes and authority regulations.
• Drive BIM coordination, constructability and design quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor and provide leadership to Design Managers and wider project teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 18+ years’ experience, with significant experience in multidisciplinary design management.
• Strong consultancy background with experience delivering large-scale buildings, high-rise, mixed-use, hospitality and/or residential developments.
• Proven client-facing and team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary design processes and BIM-led delivery.
• KSA/GCC project experience highly preferred.
• Professional registration with a recognised institution is advantageous.
