The Role of Outpatient Clinics Manager

Masar is seeking an Outpatient Clinics Manager to oversee the daily operations of its outpatient services. This full-time, on-site position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, and is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. The manager will lead operational efficiency, staff supervision, and the coordination of multidisciplinary treatment plans to meet clinical and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee outpatient clinic operations, ensuring efficient daily workflow and high-quality healthcare services.
• Develop operational and improvement plans for clinics and monitor their implementation to achieve center objectives.
• Monitor clinic performance, analyze operational and financial results, and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop plans to increase revenue and grow services for each clinic in coordination with relevant departments.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as clinic utilization rate, number of visits, patient satisfaction, patient retention, and revenue performance.
• Develop strategies to improve patient retention and reduce treatment discontinuation rates.
• Manage referral pathways between treatment services and ensure an efficient patient journey across clinics and treatment programs.
• Monitor patient experience, analyze feedback and complaints, and develop improvement plans.
• Prepare periodic operational reports and submit recommendations to executive management.
• Lead continuous improvement and development initiatives for outpatient clinics in alignment with healthcare quality and accreditation standards.
• Manage clinic capacity and scheduling to optimize appointment availability, improve resource utilization, and reduce appointment gaps and no-show rates.
• Analyze market needs and support the development of new clinics, services, and treatment programs to enhance growth opportunities.
• Develop and improve the patient journey from initial contact, appointment scheduling, clinical visits, follow-up, and referral to other services.
• Monitor clinic financial performance, including operational costs, revenue performance, and opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, procedures, quality standards, and patient safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Marketing and CRM teams to improve patient acquisition, referral sources, and service utilization.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Medicine or a related healthcare/administrative field.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of practical experience in outpatient clinic management or as a Clinic Manager in a hospital or healthcare facility.
• Demonstrated experience in managing clinic operations and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Experience in developing performance improvement plans, enhancing operational efficiency, and maximizing healthcare service utilization.
• Experience in managing teams and coordinating between medical and administrative departments.
• Knowledge of healthcare quality standards and accreditation requirements is an advantage.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah, Makkah. The role involves collaboration with various medical and administrative teams to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement across the outpatient clinics.
