• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair trailers and semi-trailers.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on trailer mechanical systems.

• Repair and maintain braking, suspension, axle, wheel, and steering systems.

• Troubleshoot air brake and hydraulic systems.

• Identify faulty components and carry out necessary replacements and repairs.

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure trailers are safe and roadworthy.

• Perform welding and basic fabrication work when required.

• Maintain proper maintenance and repair records.

• Follow workshop safety procedures and company maintenance standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Trailer Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic.

• Hands-on experience in trailer inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

• Strong knowledge of brake, suspension, axle, wheel, steering, air brake, and hydraulic systems.

• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.

• Ability to diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs independently.

• ITI / Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant technical trade preferred.

• Good understanding of workshop safety procedures.

• Candidates with experience in heavy commercial vehicles and semi-trailers will be preferred.
