• Lead and manage electrical estimation and tendering activities for MEP construction projects, ensuring competitive and commercially viable bids.

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and scope of work to identify project requirements, discrepancies, and potential risks.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, rate analyses, and pricing for electrical materials, labour, equipment, and subcontracting works.

• Handle estimation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, cabling, cable containment, earthing, lightning protection, and other associated electrical installations.

• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors, conduct commercial comparisons, and negotiate competitive rates.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities, value engineering options, and alternative solutions to improve tender competitiveness.

• Coordinate with procurement, technical, planning, and commercial teams to ensure accurate and timely tender submissions.

• Supervise and guide estimation engineers, review their work, and ensure the accuracy and quality of cost estimates.

• Participate in tender review meetings, client clarifications, commercial negotiations, and project handover after contract award.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.

• 15–18 years of overall experience in electrical estimation and tendering, preferably with an MEP contracting company.

• Minimum 5–8 years of GCC experience is preferred.

• Proven experience in preparing and managing electrical tenders for large-scale MEP construction projects.
