Role Description The Environmental Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing environmental performance across SSG projects and operations. This role involves developing and implementing environmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and ESG standards, and conducting or coordinating environmental impact assessments. The Environmental Manager will monitor key environmental indicators, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and prepare clear reports and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with project teams and subsidiaries, advising on Environment Health and Safety (EHS) considerations, supporting sustainable design and construction practices, and leading environmental awareness and training initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Environmental Compliance skills, with experience applying these in complex development or construction projects.
• Candidates should possess expertise in Environmental Policy and Environmental Issues, including familiarity with ESG frameworks and applicable regional and international regulations.
• Candidates should possess capabilities in Environmental Impact Assessment, including data collection, analysis, and reporting for diverse project types.
• Candidates should ideally have experience with sustainability planning, risk assessment, and environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
• Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams in a remote setting.
• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field is preferred, along with prior experience in environmental management roles.
