Job description

• Design and develop data pipelines and processing solutions.
• Collect data from multiple sources, transforming and integrating it.
• Build and manage data warehouses and data governance frameworks.
• Improve the performance of data processing operations while ensuring their efficiency and scalability for future growth.
• Apply data quality standards, integrity, and security measures.
• Collaborate with data analysis teams and data science to develop software solutions.
• Automate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
• Prepare technical documentation and monitor the performance of data systems while troubleshooting technical issues.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python or Scala.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools and data warehousing solutions.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to analyze technical issues and work within a team.
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
