About the Heart of House Specialist Role

Edition is seeking a Heart of House Specialist to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is fundamental in providing support across various hotel functions. Specialists in this position may work across multiple departments, including kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry, to ensure operational cleanliness and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare clean linens and dishware for guest use.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, such as dishwashers, sinks, washers, and dryers.
• Transport linens and dishware throughout the hotel as required.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure quality standards are met in all tasks.
• Maintain a professional appearance and communication style at all times.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and other departments.
• Support the team in achieving common goals and respond appropriately to concerns from other employees.
• Report accidents, damage, and hazardous conditions to management.
• Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing less than 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand, sit, and walk for extended periods, and perform bending, kneeling, twisting, pulling, and stooping movements.
• Execute other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: No high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
• Related Work Experience: No prior related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required.
• Licenses or Certifications: None required.
