About the Role
Munawla Cargo Company is seeking a Business Development Specialist, Logistics & Freight Forwarding, to join its commercial team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is primarily focused on hunting and acquiring new B2B clients for the company's freight forwarding and contract logistics services, which include Air, Ocean, Land Freight, Customs Clearance, and Warehousing.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and prospect B2B business opportunities through cold calling, structured email outreach, and on-ground field visits in industrial and commercial zones across the Western Region.
- Conduct introductory meetings, present end-to-end logistics solutions, and close new commercial accounts for freight forwarding (Air, Ocean, Land) and warehousing services.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline, follow up on proposals, negotiate terms and freight rates, and ensure accurate deal tracking and CRM management.
- Stay updated on regional shipping trends, port/customs regulations, competitor activities, and market pricing dynamics.
- Collaborate with operations, pricing, and customer care teams to ensure smooth account onboarding and service delivery.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in business development within the logistics and freight forwarding sector.
- Proven track record in the Saudi logistics market.
- Strong prospecting skills and experience in cold calling and face-to-face field sales.
- This position is open to Saudi nationals only.
