About the Role

Al-Shaer Trading, Industry, and Contracting Factory is looking for an Accountant to join its team in Yanbu, Al Madinah Al Munawwarah. This full-time role focuses on managing financial operations, from preparing accounting documents to cost analysis and financial reporting. The role requires 2 to 5 years of experience in the field of accounting.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize disbursement documents, follow up on revenue collection, document it, and analyze it.
• Prepare accounting entries and record financial transactions in the ledgers.
• Audit bank accounts and prepare necessary reconciliations along with monthly matching statements.
• Monitor current and capital expenditures in accordance with the monthly financial position of budget items.
• Prepare the financial position and monthly summaries, in addition to organizing annual final accounts.
• Develop accounting methods and procedures and keep pace with scientific and technical developments in the field.
• Prepare and archive specialized documents and reports related to expenses and revenues.

Cost Accounting Responsibilities

• Determine direct and indirect cost elements and calculate actual and standard costs.
• Analyze cost variances, determine their causes, and submit the necessary recommendations.
• Develop methods for calculating costs and pricing products.

Sales Support Responsibilities

• Follow up on the sales document cycle from receiving orders to issuing invoices.
• Coordinate continuously with the sales department and receive and audit sales orders.
• Follow up on issuing invoices on the accounting software and ensure the accuracy of prices and quantities.
• Periodic reconciliation between sales orders, invoices, and collections.

General and Administrative Expenses Responsibilities

• Record, classify, and follow up on all general and administrative expenses.
• Audit expense documents and ensure the completeness of approvals.
• Analyze expenses, compare them with the budget, and monitor variances.

Qualifications and Experience

• Practical experience ranging from 2 to 5 years in the field of accounting.
• Ability to prepare periodic reports on costs, sales, and expenses.
• Excellent skills in archiving documents and reports in databases.
• Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail in all financial tasks.
