Assistant Sales Manager (saudi Only)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team in Novotel Madinah Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our organization you will lead and inspire our sales team to achieve and exceed targets while fostering strong customer relationships in this unique and culturally significant market.

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share
• Lead motivate and mentor a team of sales professionals to meet and exceed sales targets
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
• Create and present sales reports forecasts and performance metrics to senior management
• Oversee the sales pipeline and manage the sales process from lead generation to closure
• Ensure compliance with company policies industry regulations and ethical standards
• Contribute to product development and pricing strategies based on market insights
• Represent the company at industry events trade shows and networking opportunities

Qualifications :

• Saudi National preferably with a background or strong familiarity with the Holy Cities (Makkah and Madinah).

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Hospitality Management or a related field.

• 35 years of proven experience in sales or marketing roles within the hospitality or hotel industry.

• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate coach and develop high-performing teams.

• Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.

• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications.

• Advanced negotiation problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Demonstrated expertise in sales forecasting market analysis and performance reporting.

• In-depth knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market customer behavior and business culture.

• Strong understanding of the hospitality market in the Holy Cities including seasonal demand during Hajj and Umrah periods.

• Experience working with corporate accounts travel agencies and key partners in the hospitality sector.

• Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to travel within the region when required.
