About the Role
Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Studio Facilities and Asset Manager for its Film Studio. This full-time role involves serving as the operational owner of the Film Studio’s physical assets, ensuring all facilities and infrastructure are safe, functional, compliant, and production-ready. The position requires 5-10 years of experience.
Role Purpose and Context
The Studio Facilities and Asset Manager is responsible for facilities oversight, asset performance tracking, vendor coordination, maintenance planning, and operational readiness across both activation and steady-state studio operations. This includes soundstages, workshops, backlots, offices, utilities, and supporting infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all studio facilities, including soundstages, workshops, backlots, offices, and support spaces, remain operational and production-ready.
Oversee preventive and reactive maintenance activities, covering MEP services, utilities, cleaning, waste management, and general site upkeep.
Manage facilities contractors, technical service providers, and specialist vendors, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs, scope, quality, and response standards.
Maintain asset registers, maintenance schedules, condition reports, lifecycle plans, and performance dashboards.
Coordinate facilities readiness requirements for productions, tenants, workshops, events, and temporary installations.
Translate production and tenant requirements into facilities, utilities, logistics, site access, and operational readiness plans.
Support development-to-operations handover, commissioning close-out, defects tracking, and asset acceptance activities.
Monitor asset condition, equipment performance, service disruptions, and recurring maintenance issues.
Coordinate with HSE to ensure facilities operations comply with safety requirements and statutory obligations.
Coordinate with Security, IT, Finance, Procurement, and Corporate Enablement teams on operational dependencies and service continuity.
Support budget planning, maintenance cost tracking, asset lifecycle assumptions, and facilities-related procurement requirements.
Implement operating procedures, readiness checklists, inspection routines, and escalation protocols for facilities services.
Manage facilities-related incident reporting, corrective actions, and risk mitigation plans.
Prepare operational reports, maintenance dashboards, vendor performance updates, and asset performance insights for leadership.
Identify opportunities to improve reliability, cost efficiency, sustainability, and service quality across studio assets.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Property Management, or a related field. Facilities management, asset management, or engineering certification is preferred.
Experience: 5-10 years of experience in film studios, entertainment venues, destination assets, real estate operations, hospitality assets, industrial campuses, or technical facilities environments. Experience managing MEP services, technical contractors, site readiness, and service provider performance is preferred.
Required Skills and Knowledge
Strong knowledge of facilities management, MEP systems, utilities, preventive maintenance, and lifecycle planning.
Ability to manage vendors, SLAs, operational risks, inspections, and service continuity requirements.
Strong understanding of HSE, compliance, commissioning, handover, and operational readiness processes.
Strong reporting, coordination, and issue resolution capability in operational environments.
Performance Indicators
Key performance indicators for this role include facility uptime and production readiness rate, preventive maintenance completion rate, reactive maintenance response and closure time, vendor SLA compliance, asset condition and lifecycle tracking accuracy, number of unresolved facility-related incidents, and budget adherence for facilities operations.
