Sr Procurement Engineer Electrical -ksa

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Engineer Electrical to join our team for ongoing projects in Riyadh KSA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of electrical materials and equipment in alignment with project specifications timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications BOQs and drawings to determine procurement requirements for electrical materials and systems.
  
• Identify evaluate and select qualified suppliers and vendors both locally and internationally.
  
• Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) analyze offers and negotiate prices delivery terms and payment conditions.
  
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
  
• Track and monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with project schedules.
  
• Ensure materials meet required technical and quality standards.
  
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage vendor performance.
  
• Prepare and maintain procurement documentation including purchase orders contracts and delivery reports.
  
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and procedures.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  
• Minimum of 7 10 years of relevant experience in procurement within the construction or engineering industry.
  
• Strong knowledge of electrical materials and equipment used in largescale construction projects.
  
• Excellent negotiation communication and organizational skills.
  
• Familiarity with procurement software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle).
  
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
  
• Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is preferred.
  
• Transferable Iqama is an advantage (for candidates already in KSA).
