Job Summary
Are you passionate about international trade compliance leading teams Join Expeditors as Customs Brokerage Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring smooth customs operations while developing and guiding a high-performing team.
What Youll Do:
- Supervise daily customs brokerage operations and allocate team workloads.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies regulations and customs requirements.
- Support audits duty deferment monitoring and refund processes.
- Collaborate with the Trade Compliance Manager on compliance initiatives.
- Drive process improvement and system enhancements.
- Mentor and coach team members leading performance appraisals.
- Support customer needs with timely and accurate duty/VAT reviews.
Qualifications :
What Were Looking For:
- 35 years of customs brokerage experience.
- Strong problem-solving communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to coach and build a collaborative team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas pivot tables) and Word.
- Knowledge of the global logistics industry.
- English proficiency (written and spoken).
