Job Description:

A group of schools with branches in Fifth Settlement and El Shorouk is hiring a Chief Accountant to join the Finance Department.

The position is responsible for managing the daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and preparing financial reports in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the daily accounting operations.

• Review and approve accounting entries and financial transactions.

• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial reports.

• Ensure accurate recording of revenues, expenses, and other financial transactions.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Follow up on bank reconciliations and cash transactions.

• Monitor the general ledger and ensure proper account balances.

• Prepare and follow up on budgets and financial analysis.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and accounting standards.

• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required financial documents.

• Supervise and guide the accounting team.

• Develop and maintain effective accounting procedures and internal controls.

• Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably with previous experience as a Senior Accountant or Chief Accountant.

• Previous experience in schools, educational institutions, or multi-branch organizations is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Good knowledge of Egyptian tax regulations.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to lead and manage an accounting team.
