Role Description The Interior Designer Sales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis. This position involves meeting with clients to understand their space requirements, design preferences, and budget, then translating these needs into functional and aesthetically aligned interior solutions. The specialist will prepare design proposals, mood boards, and layout options, and support the development of construction drawings in collaboration with technical teams. Daily tasks include presenting design concepts, recommending FF&E selections, coordinating with suppliers and contractors, and following up on project progress to ensure timely delivery. The role also requires proactive sales activities, including client outreach, preparing quotations, negotiating terms within set guidelines, and maintaining strong client relationships to drive repeat business and referrals.
Qualifications
- Ability to apply Interior Design and Space Planning skills to create functional, visually appealing layouts based on client requirements.
- Foundational knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to collaborate effectively with technical and construction teams.
- Proficiency in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment that align with design concepts, budgets, and quality standards.
- Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and presentation tools for visualizing and communicating concepts.
- Strong sales and client relationship skills, including needs analysis, solution selling, and follow-up on leads and opportunities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with clear written and verbal skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in interior design and sales.
