Role Description The School Psychologist is a full-time, on-site role based in Smart Village, responsible for supporting the social and emotional well-being of students. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting individual and group counseling sessions, developing recommendations to support student learning and mental health. The School Psychologist collaborates with teachers, administrators, and families to design and implement intervention plans, behavior support strategies, and preventative programs. The role also involves responding to crises, providing guidance on classroom management and inclusive practices, and contributing to school-wide initiatives that foster a positive and safe learning environment. Confidential documentation and reporting are integral parts of the position.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with the ability to apply psychological principles in an educational setting.
• Competence in Counseling, including individual and group interventions, and crisis response.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field; relevant certification or licensure where applicable.
• Experience working with school-aged children and adolescents in educational or clinical settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and external partners.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, manage multiple cases, and keep accurate, organized records.
• Fluency in English is a must.
