Key Responsibilities

• Translate documents, emails, reports, presentations, contracts, and other business materials from Korean to English and vice versa.
• Provide consecutive interpretation during meetings, calls, conferences, and business discussions.
• Support communication between Korean-speaking and English-speaking teams.
• Review and proofread translated materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, grammar, and appropriate terminology.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business and company information.
• Assist with Korean-language correspondence and documentation.
• Research industry-specific terminology and maintain relevant translation glossaries.
• Coordinate with internal departments to clarify translation requirements and deadlines.
• Ensure all translations are delivered accurately and within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Languages, Korean Studies, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Fluency in Korean and English, both written and spoken.
• Previous experience as a translator/interpreter is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Korean and English grammar, vocabulary, and cultural nuances.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and common translation/documentation tools.
