Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Pharmacist will dispense and validate prescriptions, provide accurate medication counseling, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions for potential interactions and contraindications, advising patients on dosage, side effects, and proper use of medications, and maintaining appropriate inventory and storage conditions. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues to support daily branch operations, contributing to health awareness initiatives, and delivering a customer-centered experience that reflects El Ezaby Pharmacy’s service standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug interactions, with the ability to interpret and verify prescriptions accurately.
• Demonstrated skills in patient counseling, communication, and customer service, with a focus on building trust and providing clear health guidance.
• Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills to ensure accurate dispensing, documentation, and inventory control.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and basic computer skills to handle prescription processing and record keeping.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment and adapt to changing operational needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) from an accredited institution and valid pharmacist license/registration in Egypt.
• Commitment to continuous learning, adherence to ethical and professional standards, and alignment with El Ezaby’s patient-centric values.
• Previous experience in community or retail pharmacy is an advantage; Arabic language proficiency and good English communication skills are beneficial.
