We are looking for an Accountant to join our Accounting team in Alexandria.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience in financial closing and reporting, and the ability to use technology and AI tools to improve accounting processes and day-to-day efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing activities, reconciliations, and accounting adjustments.
  
• Prepare periodic financial statements and financial reports.
  
• Prepare financial analyses and ad-hoc reports as required.
  
• Coordinate with external auditors within the assigned scope.
  
• Provide financial information and support to operational and management teams.
  
• Take ownership of assigned accounting activities.
  
• Proactively contribute to improving accounting processes and controls.
  
• Use technology and AI tools to improve reporting, analysis, and routine accounting activities.
  
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from a foreign university or an English-taught program at an Arab university.
  
• Strong academic performance in accounting subjects.
  
• Strong written and spoken English.
  
• Relevant experience in accounting, closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
  
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite,Zoho, or Odoo.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• High learning agility, initiative, and ownership.
  
• Ability to contribute beyond traditional transactional accounting and support the business with financial insights.
  
  

AI & Technology Skills

We are particularly interested in candidates who have practical experience using AI in finance and accounting, including:

• Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar tools.
  
• Financial data analysis and variance identification.
  
• Financial reporting and management presentations.
  
• Document and contract review.
  
• Closing and audit support.
  
• Automation of repetitive accounting and reporting tasks.
  
• Use of AI Agents or automated workflows.
