Masader for Industry & Investment, a biofuel manufacturing Leader in Alexandria, Egypt, is looking for a General Accountant to join our Finance team and own the full accounting cycle, accurately and on time, under the supervision of the Head of Finance.

What you'll do:

* Own the full accounting cycle, from document review and journal entries through to trial balance and month-end closing

* Record daily journal entries and review supporting documents

* Maintain supplier and customer accounts and handle reconciliations

* Prepare and follow up on bank reconciliations and the cash journal

* Prepare payments and payables according to the approved cycle

* File and archive accounting documents per the approved system

* Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, and Sales to collect required documents

What we're looking for:

* Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent

* 2-5 years of experience in general accounting, covering the full accounting cycle, preferably in a manufacturing company

* Good command of Excel

* Solid understanding of journal entries and document flow

* High accuracy and commitment to deadlines
