Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analysis Professional to support the company’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring processes within the FMCG industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing management reports, monitoring financial KPIs, and conducting variance analysis to identify performance gaps and improvement opportunities. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to support cost control, profitability analysis, budget adherence, and data-driven decision-making, ensuring effective financial management and alignment with the company’s business objectives.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Support the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and periodic financial plans.
• Analyze actual financial performance against budget and forecast, investigate variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial performance analyses to support management decision-making.
• Monitor financial and commercial KPIs, including sales performance, cost trends, gross margins, and profitability.
• Conduct commercial and profitability analysis to identify business risks, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to evaluate business performance and support commercial decisions.
• Support cost control initiatives, budget adherence, and improvements in financial reporting accuracy.
• Utilize Excel, Power BI, ERP systems, and other reporting tools to analyze data and provide actionable insights.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Relevant degree, financial analysis experience, and preferably FMCG industry exposure.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years and above of hands-on experience in financial analysis or FP&A.
• Advanced proficiency in financial analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial standards.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and reporting tools
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting
• Strong experience in commercial analysis and profitability management
• Demonstrated success in business partnering with commercial and cross-functional teams

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

• Professional certifications such as CMA, ACCA, or CFA are an advantage.
• An MBA or a relevant postgraduate qualification is preferred.
