Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Staff role based in Alexandria. The Sales Staff member is responsible for welcoming customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them to suitable garment options while providing accurate product information. Daily tasks include assisting with fittings, handling customer inquiries, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized sales floor and fitting rooms. The role also involves replenishing stock, arranging displays, monitoring inventory levels, and supporting basic store operations as needed. Sales Staff are expected to contribute to achieving sales targets, follow store policies, and cooperate with colleagues to ensure a smooth, professional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service and interpersonal skills to engage customers, build rapport, and handle questions or concerns effectively.
• Sales and basic retail skills, including product presentation, upselling, and accurate cash handling or POS operation.
• Communication skills to clearly explain garment features, sizes, and care instructions and to coordinate with team members.
• Organizational and time-management abilities to maintain store tidiness, manage fitting room flow, and support inventory tasks.
• Attention to detail for checking garment quality, correct pricing, and proper labeling and display.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise safely, and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Previous experience in retail, fashion, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is beneficial; willingness to learn and follow training is essential.
