محاسب عام General Accountant

Comfort Zone, specializing in interior finishing, design, and furniture, is looking for a General Accountant to join our team. Work Location: Fifth Settlement – Cairo. Employment Type: Full-Time / On-Site. Working Days: 6 days per week. Working Hours: 8 hours per day, including a rest break. Experience: 3 to 5 years. Key Responsibilities: Record and review daily accounting entries and transactions. Monitor customer and supplier accounts and perform necessary reconciliations. Track expenses, petty cash, and supporting documents. Review and prepare payroll data after it is processed by the HR department. Monitor bank accounts and perform bank reconciliations in accordance with approved procedures. Monitor inventory and purchases to ensure completeness of documents and the accounting cycle. Assist in preparing and reviewing periodic reports and accounts. Participate in tax-related tasks and tax filings under the supervision of the Financial Manager, with the scope of responsibility expanding in the future according to company needs. Participate in monitoring project accounts and costs. Collaborate with various departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial and accounting documents. Adhere to the company's approved financial and accounting policies and procedures. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Commerce – Accounting major or a suitable qualification. Practical experience of 3 to 5 years in accounting. Very good proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Good knowledge of accounting principles and cycles. Ability to handle customer accounts, suppliers, expenses, purchases, and inventory. High accuracy in reviewing documents, numbers, and reconciliations. Ability to work within a team and coordinate with various departments. Willingness to work with ERP systems like Odoo or others in the future. Preferred: Previous experience in finishing, contracting, interior design, real estate, or project-based companies. Knowledge of Project Accounting / Cost Accounting. Experience in monitoring project costs or purchasing and subcontractors. Previous experience in dealing with accounting or ERP systems.
