About us
the3Us.org is building common practice guidelines for patient advocacy across the Arab and African region, led by We Want Life under the Arab African Council of Advocacy and Narratives (AACAN), with the Egyptian Healthcare Authority as national partner.
Our first milestone, Activate the Voice, launches on World Diabetes Day, 14 November 2026. Before we write any awareness message, we listen to the public. We measure what people know about diabetes, how they treat those living with it, and how they see the illness. Then we co-create campaigns that fill the real gaps.
Your role
- Review the survey tools and every campaign message for medical accuracy
- Work alongside Diabetes Champions (people living with diabetes and caregivers), AACAN and the Faculty of Mass Communication at 6th of October University
- Help turn survey results into clear, evidence-based awareness messages
- Join key review meetings with The 3Us Committee
