We are currently hiring a Accountant for a very well known US Company in the construction field.

Responsibilities

• Enter accounts payable (AP) invoices into TimberScan.
• Review AP invoices in TimberScan for accuracy and ensure invoices are assigned to the correct vendor.
• Verify that invoice amounts match the amounts entered in the system.
• Ensure materials and services are assigned to the correct job.
• Ensure materials and services are assigned to the correct job cost code.
• Verify that expenses are assigned to the correct general ledger account.
• Ensure invoice discount amounts match the discounts entered in the system.
• Verify that payment dates match the dates stated on the invoices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Sage 300 accounting software experience preferred
• Timberscan experience preferred
• Construction industry experience preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Strong organizational skills
• Attention to detail
