External Auditor

About the job

We are looking for a professional and capable External Auditor to join our team, possessing deep knowledge of the investment environment and commercial regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They will be responsible for conducting financial audits for companies in accordance with international and local standards, and ensuring full compliance with Saudi regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Planning and executing audit procedures: Preparing field and documentary audit plans and checklists for companies and organizations in accordance with the International Standards on Auditing (ISA) adopted in Saudi Arabia.

Examining financial statements: Reviewing financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flows) and ensuring they are prepared in accordance with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

Ensuring client compliance with the new Saudi Companies Law, the requirements of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA), and regulations issued by the Capital Market Authority (for listed companies).

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting department.

Professional Certificates: Full mastery of IFRS (holder preferred).

Work Experience: A minimum of [1 - 3 years] of experience in an accredited audit firm, with a focus on auditing Saudi companies across various sectors.

Regulatory Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of the Saudi Companies Law, the Zakat and Income Law, and relevant tax and regulatory regulations.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting and electronic audit software, especially 1Audit and ERP systems, and excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
