Alexandria Businessmen Association (ABA) is seeking a highly skilled and analytical IT Internal Auditor to join our Internal Audit Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of our IT governance, information security, applications, and technology infrastructure in compliance with the IIA Global Internal Audit Standards and international IT frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute risk-based IT audit engagements covering IT infrastructure, network security, database management, Core Banking/Financial Systems, and business continuity plans.
• Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of IT general controls (ITGC) and IT application controls (ITAC).
• Evaluate information security controls, cyber-risk resilience, and compliance with data privacy regulations and ISO 27001 standards.
• Align audit engagements with the IIA International Professional Practices Framework (IPPF), COBIT, and relevant regulatory IT mandates.
• Prepare comprehensive IT audit reports detailing vulnerabilities, risk exposure, and actionable recommendations to enhance the organization's control environment.
• Follow up on the implementation of corrective action plans agreed upon with the IT and Information Security departments.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems (MIS).
• Professional Certifications: CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) is strongly preferred or in progress; CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) is a plus.
• Experience: 2–4 years of experience in IT auditing, IT risk assessment, or Information Security auditing (preferably in Microfinance, Banking, or Financial Institutions).
• Core Competencies: Solid understanding of IIA Standards, COBIT and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of network architecture, database auditing (SQL/Oracle), access management, and system logs analysis.
• Proficiency in using Data Analytics tools (e.g., ACL or Power BI) for continuous auditing.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
