Role Description The Senior Auditor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Qesm El Maadi. The Senior Auditor will lead and execute audit engagements from planning through completion, including risk assessment, fieldwork, and preparation of audit reports in accordance with professional standards. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, evaluating internal controls, identifying control and process improvements, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and accounting standards. The role involves supervising and coaching junior team members, coordinating with clients to obtain necessary information, and communicating audit findings and recommendations clearly and professionally. The Senior Auditor will also support continuous improvement of audit methodologies and may contribute to advisory assignments related to governance, risk, and internal control frameworks.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong technical auditing skills, including knowledge of assurance standards, risk assessment, internal controls, and financial statement review.
• Candidates should possess solid accounting and financial analysis skills, with a thorough understanding of IFRS/GAAP and relevant tax and regulatory frameworks.
• Candidates should possess skills in planning and managing engagements, including project management, time management, and prioritization under deadlines.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, including report writing, client relationship management, and teamwork with diverse colleagues.
• Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex information and propose practical, value-adding recommendations.
• Relevant university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CIA are highly beneficial.
• Several years of progressive audit experience in a professional services or corporate environment, preferably with exposure to large or complex organizations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and audit-related software; familiarity with digital tools and data analytics in audit is an advantage.
• High ethical standards, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, continuous learning, and adherence to firm values.
