Role Purpose

The Lead IT Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing Tatweer's IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, scalability, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, virtualization platforms, storage systems, and enterprise infrastructure services.
• Administer VMware environments including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, HA, and virtual machine lifecycle management.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and identity management services.
• Administer Microsoft Exchange, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365 environments, including mail flow, email security, mailbox management, and hybrid deployments.
• Manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
• Support Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure environments.
• Support CI/CD platforms, deployment automation, and infrastructure provisioning activities.
• Implement infrastructure security best practices and support compliance requirements.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, standards, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, System Engineering.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Microsoft infrastructure technologies.
• Strong expertise in VMware (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, HA, vMotion, DRS).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Exchange Server, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365. Experience with Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience with backup solutions, disaster recovery, and high-availability architectures.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD concepts, and deployment automation tools.
• Good understanding of networking, storage technologies, and cybersecurity principles.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills.

Preferred Certifications

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
• Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200)
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
• ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
