ECE is looking for a motivated – to join our Mechanical Design team and contribute to the design and coordination of plumbing systems across our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare plumbing drawings, calculations, specifications, schedules, and BOQs.
- Design water supply, hot water, drainage, stormwater, tanks, and pumping systems.
- Perform pipe sizing, hydraulic calculations, and equipment selection.
- Coordinate plumbing layouts with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines.
- Review project requirements, specifications, applicable codes, and authority requirements.
- Review shop drawings and material submittals.
- Support responses to RFIs and technical comments.
- Attend site visits, inspections, testing, and commissioning when required.
- Coordinate with CAD/BIM staff, contractors, and site engineers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–4 years of experience in plumbing design.
- Good AutoCAD skills.
- Basic knowledge of Revit and Navisworks.
- Understanding of plumbing systems, hydraulic calculations, codes, and standards.
- Good English communication skills.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
