WE ARE HIRING | CUSTOMS CLEARANCE OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE
A leading logistics company specialized in international trade and logistics services is looking for an experienced, and well-presented Customs Clearance Operations Executive to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle and follow up on customs clearance operations for import and export shipments.
- Manage and follow up on customs procedures through NAFEZA and the relevant electronic customs systems.
- Follow up closely with customs brokers and clearance representatives to ensure smooth and timely cargo clearance.
- Handle field customs clearance procedures at ports, airports, and customs zones.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, transport companies, transport contractors, storage yards, and other relevant service providers.
- Maintain strong working relationships with customs brokers and service providers at ports and airports.
- Follow up on shipment status, customs procedures, inspections, releases, and related requirements.
- Handle and follow up on customs documentation.
- Support HS Code Management, including identifying suitable HS Codes for different types of goods.
- Maintain good knowledge of customs valuation and commonly accepted customs values for different commodities.
- Handle customs clearance procedures for Free Zones and different customs regimes.
- Have good knowledge of re-export procedures and related customs requirements.
Requirements:
- Male.
- Maximum age 35 years.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in customs clearance operations is preferred.
- Previous experience as a Customs Clearance Operations Executive or Customs Broker is highly preferred.
- Good practical knowledge of NAFEZA and electronic customs procedures.
- Strong knowledge of both electronic and field customs clearance procedures.
- Existing professional relationships with customs brokers at ports and airports are highly preferred.
- Good relationships with transport companies, transport contractors, and storage yards are highly preferred.
- Customs clearance license is preferred.
- Good knowledge of HS Codes and HS Code Management.
- Good understanding of customs valuation and the appropriate HS Codes for different types of commodities.
- Knowledge of Free Zone customs procedures, different customs regimes, and re-export procedures.
- Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Responsible, organized, proactive, and able to handle pressure.
- Presentable and professional in appearance.
Working Conditions & Benefits:
Location: Heliopolis, Cairo
Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday & Saturday: Off
Fully paid medical insurance & social insurance
Year-end profit share
