Role Description The Pharmacist role at basta trade is a full-time, on-site position based in Qesm Helwan. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, counsel patients on proper use, and review prescriptions to ensure safety, appropriateness, and compliance with regulations. Daily responsibilities include managing inventory, monitoring medication storage conditions, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The role also involves coordinating with prescribers, answering customer inquiries, and supporting over-the-counter product selection. The Pharmacist will contribute to quality assurance efforts, follow standard operating procedures, and promote a clean, organized, and secure pharmacy environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with a bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) and eligibility to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and prescription review.
• Ability to provide clear, empathetic patient counseling and customer service in a fast-paced setting.
• Competence in medication dispensing, inventory control, and handling controlled substances in line with regulations.
• Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy management or point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, and handle confidential information responsibly.
• Previous experience in a community or retail pharmacy setting is preferred but not required.
