SWUT Solutions, the authorized reseller and technical partner for MIDAS software, is looking for a highly motivated MIDAS Civil Application Engineer to join our technical team.

The selected candidate will play a key role in providing technical support, software demonstrations, professional training, engineering workshops, and pre-sales technical consulting for MIDAS Civil NX users across the region.

Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Support

• Provide technical support to MIDAS Civil NX users.
• Investigate and resolve modeling, analysis, and design issues.
• Assist clients in troubleshooting software-related challenges.
• Coordinate with MIDAS technical teams when advanced support is required.

Training & Workshops

• Deliver professional training sessions for clients and engineering teams.
• Conduct webinars, workshops, and technical seminars.
• Develop training materials, tutorials, and technical documentation.
• Support engineers in adopting best practices for bridge analysis and design using MIDAS Civil NX.

Technical Consulting & Pre-Sales

• Conduct software demonstrations and proof-of-concept presentations.
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable workflows using MIDAS solutions.
• Support the sales team during technical discussions and client meetings.
• Showcase engineering applications and advanced analysis capabilities within MIDAS Civil NX.

Engineering Expertise

• Develop bridge models using MIDAS Civil NX.
• Demonstrate analysis and design workflows for concrete, steel, composite, and prestressed bridges.
• Prepare benchmark models and technical examples for marketing and training purposes.

RequirementsEducation

• B.Sc. in Civil Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience using MIDAS Civil / MIDAS Civil NX.
• Proven experience in bridge analysis and design projects.
• Experience delivering technical presentations, training, or workshops is a strong advantage.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in MIDAS Civil NX.
• Strong understanding of:
• Bridge Analysis & Design
• Construction Stage Analysis
• Moving Load Analysis
• Prestressed Concrete Bridges
• Steel & Composite Bridges
• AASHTO and/or Eurocode Standards

Soft Skills

• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to explain complex engineering concepts in a simple manner.
• Customer-focused attitude.
• Fluent English communication (written and spoken).

Preferred Qualifications

• MIDAS certification is a plus.
• Experience with CSI Bridge, SAP2000, RM Bridge, or other bridge software.
• Previous experience in technical support, software consulting, or engineering training.
